RE:RE:RE:RE:RE:RE:RE:RE:RE:RE:Be Careful /will depend on price GOLD !!!! Checkmate, you are right. A few thoughts:
- TMM is trading in a range right now - within 5% of it's 52 week high reached in the past month.
- Before this run, TMM last traded at 72c on July 2, 2015 - 13 months ago.
- That July, TMM dropped to .37 cents and had traded 165 million shares on its way down to .105 cents
- My point being is that shareholders have a lot of overhang to get through before each new high, hence the peak and consolidation
- TMM is up 700% from it's low and is more than a double or triple for many shareholders (hence some selling)
- Because of this, you cannot compare TMM to others
- TMM paid off their debt this past Q, so we will see that in their books
- We know they produced and sold more gold than they had in a quarter in 2 years, and their costs are well contained. I don't see any special charges this past Q, so I expect their financials to be clean, show true operations and have a very nice balance sheet.
- As shareholders, we know TMM 'could' continue to produce at these gold prices, but:
- The general public is not really aware of the stock right now, so they don't know this - it hasn't been stated as such
- Analysts won't price this in until the company confirms it and commits to it
- A lot of analysts are not following TMM closely right now, but that should change. Note the drop off in analysts attending their Q calls. Small #'s.
- Ana Paula production equipment should be ready to go
- Ana Paula Feasibility?
- My view is it is dumb to have a Q call and release on a Friday. Dumb decision in my view
- My thought is the delay (vs other quarters) in releasing the Q numbers is due to the change of leadership in the financial department
Just some random thoughts. I like the consolidation in the .70's. I could not have asked for this and been realistic when I bought in the teens, twenties and thirties in Nov, Dec and Jan. Yeah, I also bought in the high $1 range too before Sh hit the fan.
All in all - healthy trading. Still great prospects. Still a tonne of upside...
