RE:RE:RE:RE:RE:RE:RE:RE:RE:Holding UEX backMBT, a couple of thoughts to the good points you made: IMO it would be to the U-consumers advantage to have a higher spot price. I have heard more than once that the cost of uranium is only a small chunk of the cost of producing electricity. So the buyers of uranium are more concerned about guaranty of supply than they are about the cost of supply. If prices are high, then everybody and his brother will be out there looking for, and producing U3O8.
The catalyst to start the run on yellowcake? I think it will be simply a matter of demand greater than supply. But does anyone know the true amount of stockpiles of both producers and consumers?
