confidence!@clarence, I am quite happy to know your success in your chosen security business and wish you more success in the coming years too! I have been in the stock business for quite a long period with my share of success( luck!) too. Still handling portfolios for my clients. I just shared my thoughts based on my experience . It is not based on knee jerk reaction like others do. If a stock is not able to hold or advance (even after 37 consequitive quarterly revenue increases ) and slide more than20% after reporting a small quarterly loss, it tells the underlying symptom of loosing the confidence of investors. You, as a successful businessman, would agree that a good bottom line is a key barometer to measure the success of any business. It is nothing new or abnormal for a business or industry to post quarterly loss but the perceived notion of its investors matter a lot. After all, we investors play with the stock to make money only and not to gift it someone.Stocks , for example, CNQ, CPG have been loosing several millions of dollor for the last 2 years but these stocks did not slide more than 5-6 % even on the worst day. Yes , they are low compared to their peak , but have shown the resilence to bounce back at the first opportunity. This is what is missing in this counter very much. Anyway, Good luck to all those believers!
