Aphria Inc. APHA

Aphria, which is headquartered in Ontario, produces and sells medicinal and recreational cannabis. The company operates through retail and wholesale channels in Canada and internationally. Aphria is a main distributor of medical cannabis to Germany and has operations in over 10 countries outside of Canada. However, it does not have exposure to the U.S. CBD or THC markets due to the constraints of federal prohibition. It has some U.S. exposure through the acquisition of SweetWater, a craft brewer

RE:Phase III expansion

RE:Phase III expansion"planning, design, development, construction and implementation of a project internally identified as Part III Expansion"

This shouts recreational, recreational, recreational, recreational marijuana to me. They need to increase their production capacity to more than what they have now, think of a good branding other than Aphria... who wants to buy a weed called "Aphria" when they have other choices like "tweed" and their "green coloured font". They need to develop their packaging, pick their strains. Maybe put on the package light or dark to differentiate between a strong tasting vs light tasting weed. Word of advice to Aphria, take the tweed route and don't become like hydropothecary. Their branding is a turn off, I get it that they went with "old man's cigar" route, but it is not for younger generations.
