Not to rain on your parade, but if I am not mistaken, these new batteries will not require that much extra lithium. Here is a quote from the article:

The battery essentially swaps out a common battery anode material, graphite, for very thin, high-energy lithium-metal foil, which can hold more ions — and, therefore, provide more energy capacity.

The pic that they show implies little extra lithium... BUt a little more is better than nothing...  If only NMX share could start going up, I'd be quite in a good mood...
Nevertheless, any improvement in lithium batteries is good for us. But I would'nt want to be too much invested in graphite in a couple of years...
