Why was Valstar approved and not MCNA?

Why was Valstar approved and not MCNA?How come was Valstar approved and not MCNA if what we can read
on Wikipedia is true?  It might seem a bit too late to ask the question
but it might also give an indication of how much MCNA is worth right
now.
