RE:RE:RE:My antenna are starting to twitch!
For the most part I think this board has evolved from spinning the blame on the lack of share price forward momentum to a single SH poster but there will always be some dejected pumperoids like Yajne left over from the glory days of pumping this stock who still can't accept the fact the market is now in a dead serious show me mode for this company. Lol, he blames me for the market's lack of conviction! Why would any informed investor believe otherwise after being subjected to a long history of guidance misses by this management with no follow up explanation to the shareholders? A CEO can't keep doing that and then expect fund managers to be enthusiastic about taking on a large long position on behalf of their clients. The Venture retail investor thinks only about buying cheap so don't expect any help in driving up the share price more than a few pennies from that group. You need to give the smart money a reason to come in and spend large and so far it appears Roger hasn't provided one compelling enough to their satisfaction. Speculation about potential peaks the smart money's interest but its execution of guidance that makes them buyers.
On the point of moving to the TSX Composite. I've been involved in the past with a handful of companies that did the switch and in not one case did it result in more than a 2 or 3% gain short term. After a few weeks the gains were wiped out as investors went back to the company fundamentals. For management the listing provides access to new capital pools but shareholders should be careful what they wish for. Dipping into them will come at a price for existing shareholders. As far as the sp, if a company has a certain price to book ratio on the Venture, moving to the bigger board won't change that. Investors won't pay more just because there's a T instead of a V in you ticker.
