RE:RE:keep your positionJust finished listening to the conference call. Basically between the cash and the tax loss carry forwards they are getting the plants, and MCNA for free.
They plan on getting rid of the Montreal plant.
They don't plan on using the Bellville plant until at least 4th qtr 2017.
Were not planning to say anything about MCNA until someone asked a question about it.
So my questions after listening to the CC are:
1. Why buy a company for a plant that you are not going to use for at least a year? And then only part of it? The obvious answer is that they are basically getting it for free but is that enough to make the deal sweet enough? Like the guy on the CC said the plant is only valuable if there is product being produced in it?
2. They were were obviously not going to say anything about MCNA unless someone asked a question about it. Why did Telesta include it in the deal? Could they not have sold it separately?
I think Prometic sees something in MCNA, maybe not for Bladder Cancer but maybe for treatment after chemo to bring white blood cells back to normal levels. They said in the CC that they will take a look at it and possibly maintain the patents but come on, are we really supposed to believe that they have not done any research on MCNA and that TST has just thrown in MCNA because everyone is telling them it's worthless?
No, there is something going on....even when the AD committee voted it down 18 to 6 they said we think you have something here, your crapy trial just wasn't conclusive. There is no way MCNA is worthless. IMO.
Hoping we get a better offer.....
