The Fund will invest at least 30% of its managed assets in convertible securities and up to 70% of its managed assets in non-convertible income securities. stockmaster raised the same point as I had raised about the number of warrants (100MM of them of which 66MM can be exercised between $0.20 - $02.5)....which could be one of the reasons stalling the rise of AVK while other gold equities have moved 3 or 4 times from their lows.

Management should have accelerated the exercise of the warrants to force holders to convert them to shares and get some needed cash.... Others speculated that AVK was in take-over talk... hence management could not accelerate.... But I think it was because these warrants are owned by lots of insiders/management.... hence no need to hurry/accelerate....
.
Also, without financings announcement, AVK will be stuck here..... Will it fall back to low $0.20s, who knows?........ Hope it will not be another ORE story (which is "what a disaster story")....
