In diamond industry the right spot to make sample is very tough. the geolist make the best analysis to create model for exploration drilling. At some point it's look like luck vs not luck. when you drill deep the drill create a lag (rotation lag) and you can miss the target.

Also, I tough with a VP exploration a couple of year, the guys said to me, you can invest ton of million to make sure than you find diamond, the only way to know exactly how much diamond are there,  you remove all the place. it's not totally technique, science sometime is look like felling with the rock, the place. For the 43-101 you have to keep the carrot of drilling, if not big rock exist the commision can see it. 


For the diamond mine, all of them should be great diamond, but only few of them have many great diamond every week. some time look like Lucara, you have big diamond sometime less big, your ore grade have less diamond.

soil is the biggest mistake of the mining company, who knows exactly what is in the soil.
