What I got out of it is that MCNA was re evaluated in the context of a second P3 and because it would be 5 years long and not easy it was just written up as worthless. That is pretty much the way it was summed up in the August 2 release where the plant was shut down + all manufacturing staff layed off + Ipsen left + MCNA was shelved without saying anything other than telling us that they are experts in their field and have a great track record of success. for some reason they never said anything more about why it was shelved,,,,,or that there was still nearly 40 million in cash assets. That was a good release for shareholders. The stock has traded 175 million shares in last few days so for me it is maybe a sign that a second bid is coming or some group making sure this deal gets a yes vote. I dont think it is gambling retailers
