One statement is incorrect:

"but the company struggled to generate cash and to pay interest on its debts as commodity prices collapsed and remained depressed."

You can't always trust everything the press writes, as they don't all understand finance.  Twin Butte was paying interest on its debts, it just couldn't pay back the debt.  It couldn't pay interest in Q1, but Q2 was okay.
