CXR isn't a stock. It's a drug! My best friend...has been in and out of CXR a dozen or more times in the last year...all the way down.  Presently, his total cost is fifty thousand, acquired at an average price of $30 per share.  He will not sell.  Won't hear of it.

I heard all last winter and spring how Valeant was casting a long dark shadow and that once CXR got out from under that shadow it's growth thru acquisition strategy and 'manageable' debt would fuel the stock.

All I've said to him is that it's no big deal to be wrong about a stock, we've all been there, but he won't sell and just keeps averaging down.

What it is about this company that has transformed an otherwise sensible and winning investor into a maniac I don't recognize?
