RE:RE:Re: jutah70

RE:RE:Re: jutah70And for snickels comment - I am not boiling things down solely to debentures and interest payments.  The comment was to say part of what is going on to explain what analysts and money managers do in terms of looking forward is to account for those things in their risk/reward analysis.  They run models on best and worst case scenarios.  People here have not considered the impact of the debenture scenario.  So much attention went to 'hey, things are good - they paid more than the going market price'.  I applauded their skin in the game.  However, don't assume they were doing for shareholder interest.  They did it for their own.  Once again, pull back your focus to see things outside of the one perspective.  There are plenty of people in the marketplace who have differing views on these debentures.  But if they are too dilutive for someones liking, you won't see their money.  And a few weeks ago we saw a good lift in the space.  That is where the investment community see value right now.  Go run the numbers for yourself this weekend.  Someone may not feel confident based on their models.  They may be saying "what happens if they are tight because of interest payments - make the payment with another debenture?"  The game is like using one credit card to pay the other.

When they can get to a point of a certain revenue stream and a certain amount of cash on hand, then it may give some confidence.  But that also takes into account the expenses.  Maybe if they had a credit facility available it would add some confidence.

I have offered some explanations as to what could be hindering the share price.  Forgive me if I don't state them over and over again.

Here is the question I have put out to the board - if the market is forward looking, wouldn't the current sales and revenue figures be enough to move the share price forward and upward?  Exactly.  Except here, a lot of excuses get made instead of anyone providing a good, logical, and rational explanation.  Too many times it boils down to the cloud-parting US listing.  Yes, that will get the angels singing their chorus.  It's denial.  And to tell the market 4-6 weeks and not make good on it may not sit well with side line money.

One more question - would you not figure investment houses and traders who make their living using a methodology of finding and investing in mispriced stock would not be all over this stock?  Maybe they are and manipulating the share price to load up.  One day we may hear about manipulative trading practices.  Thank you to the poster who took the step to inquire.  Whether posters want to laugh at him, at least we may get some resolution as to if there is some illegal trading practices affecting this stock.

One would figure a rising tide would float all boats, no?  Do you think the investment community is just unaware of this stock?

A lot of people here feel CGC is overvalued.  Maybe so.  But the market may be giving them a little forward credit because they are expanding globally.  So while a lot of people make light of the small market they are in Canada-wise, I am sure there will be more to add as more and more countries come into their wheel-house.  Opps, just offered another insight not considered.  Sorry, I won't do it again.  Odzie may not understand it.
