You guys do know funds can short without disclosing right?
So, let's say I'm a billionaire investor, I get fooled into bad management guidance. I'm left holding 5% of a garbage stock. I do more digging and see that AMCo appears to be a house of cards that has been playing around the NHS. I see that Concordia' has jacked up the price of its #1 drug, Donnatal, after Revive had it and also jacked it up, the thing is now 800% or so higher than its past price,
Insurance companies are no longer covering it, The FDA might actually pull it off. It has no DIN so can't even be sold in Canada etc etc
What do I do? Sell my 5%, NO! I CAN'T With the low volume, it's going to crash the stock with my trade! Hey! I can short this garbage without having to disclose it because according to current regulations, i don't have to disclose my short position.
So all of the above is just a opinion. Nothing has been presented in front of a judge for a ruling, yet,
What I can tell you for SURE, and that is FACT, is that I am not a billionaire investor but that's where I'd like to go! LOL ;-)
Colt, you're either a bagholder in denial or a 2bit promoter. I bet the you're 2bit! Correct?
