RE:RE:Thank you for the deal - I bought back in today at the low!Remember the Cantor article:
  • given its strategic location (within trucking distance of three mills) and best in class grade, we believe the company represents a very likely takeover candidate in the next 12-24 months by up to four potential suitors.
Cantor knows this and so do the potential suitors.  I think it's going to be a matter of which one makes a move and beats the others to the punch.

Annette is going to be on the wrong side with penny flipping on this one.  She wasn't fooling anyone with her "I'll buy back around Christmas."  She'll be sorry when there's a surprise takeover announcement.

Goldfield, Osisko and Barrick are definitely shopping.  Here we have a mine that is soon going into full production.  Goldfield and Osisko have large stakes in Sirios (SOI) in northern Quebec and they're still in the exploration stage.  I'm sure a major will put in lowball offers before Roman can increase the proven reserves too much.  I'm betting one or more is slowly buying up to 9% before making an offer.
