It's worth recalling that the original designs for capacity expansion were significantly altered to improve effeciency and production agility. That means much more complexity, requring more time to get it right.
Equally important was the decision to greatly expand the entire scope of the expansion by adding the commercial-scale platform for its highly promising PGX process and the ethanol recycling facility.
In my view, the most promising catalyst for CZO is PGX processing of nano-cellulose - an organic wonder material on the scale of graphene. Check it out!!
