From software to hand held hardware - processing retail dataServicing a client and offering a hand held device that allows them full access - full control - of inventory in real time - is where it's at. Brilliant, indeed.
Servicing such name brand clients and growing the services with such data devices is again, brilliant.
But could there be more? Could this idea be compounded upon?
Could such a device - with perfected software - a software that caters to such a broad business base - ever improve - improve to earn more revenues?
Versatiles ' hand held devices are without question - a leader amongst the pact - a device that encompasses a business' entire inventory or product data - and amazingly held inthe palm of a hand.
Such a powerhouse device, but could it do more? Could it be better?
There's a ton of power in such a lil device - but I think it could be far better...
I think, Versatile should compliment their existing business model - servicing clients and managing data - and here it is....
Offer an additional service - point of sale service - in which the hand held device or cell phone that accesses the software designed for the clients company - allows the worker to access another portal on the device - to not only access inventory - but get this.... Make the sale in real time - on the spot.
A simple plug in - which allows the end yser to access a portsl with a merchant bank - offering direct payment purchases with thrir customers or existing clients - via - debit or credit card payment options - thus - no more 30 day credit wait tines.
Allows businesses to be paid in real time = no wait time = instant profits.
Many companies must invoice, and the turn around time to get paid, can sometime place a company in a compromise of insufficient funds.
Having a device that allows the end user business to access their inventory, and provide invoicing, with signature capability in which the company relies upon product hand held device sales or leasing - or - data managmrnt - to earn revenues is one thing...
But, to compound on such an idea and add merchant payment solutions in real time - would be astounding - not to mention - the revenues that Versatile could capture with each realtime purchase transaction.
If they ever did make that plug in connective program - maybe merchant banks already have such a connectivity - if so... and if such an idea - offering insta-payment with in the hsnd held devices and if they were to capture a portion of each sale - small percentile - an access usage - handling portal fee - it would be interesting to see the amount of revenues it could gernerate.
It would be almost advantageous for Versatile to offer their hand helds - for free - maybe a one time payment of $300 ea. If, if, if, the client signed up long term... And had an enormous retail base in which - Versatile could capitalize long term with each purchase transaction - capturing a small percentile of each sale.
Managing data is one thing, but designing their hand held device or via cell phones - accessing a merchant portal and offering - Point Of Sale - as an added option, could open up a whole new field of clients they're missing out on, in which could create an enormous smout of revenues.
