More bad news is just the norm here and expected as Concordia is unraveling. Judging by the high daily volume considering the tradable float is under 40 million shares it's mostly day traders and shorts that are in control and this won't change as no real funds will touch this unless good news starts to come out, assuming there are any. Yes highly likely to be a bull trap or leaks of good news is prompting some buying, we will know by Wednesday. Just remember that the combination of high short float with so many on the sidelines waiting to see uptick so they don't miss much of the run up will overshoot the price on the way up much like its overshooting it on the way down. Again nothing will stop the general decline except good news or news that this company can pay its debt. The cinven payout issue is the biggest factor now besides the hints from the shorts of a possible fradulant practices by either Thompson or Concordia. If this payout requires the revolver Loan to be drawn then its game over. Thompson being margined out of his remaining 1.6 million shares is an unknown and could be positive or negative. Just remember that every losing streak in the SP ended with bad news meaning that there are many in the know before the rest of us get the info, this will apply on the way up meaning if we start to see a streak of a few up days then good news is coming. If the share price stabilizes or keeps the up trend through to Wednesday then expect good news.
Disagree because I was trapped in the news of a buyout in June. And that was bad insider news and just a way certain institutions dumped. So I don't really trust the theory "if share price moves up that means its good news" story - at least not with this stock.
