RE:RE:RE:RE:RE:The Bedrocan mistake continues...

RE:RE:RE:RE:RE:The Bedrocan mistake continues...I'm a tree hugging left wing looney in most respects, but a firm believer that a business can't give it's product away, it's not sustainable. CGC has been at the forefront of compassionate pricing and free shipping. I'm sure you know better than i do what other companies charge. I think it's time for CGC to find a better balance. I think it's smarter for them to pull the band-aid off all at once with the shipping and pricing together, better for patients and for the bottom line. Good luck getting back in, i mean that. But at the same time, i really believe this is the beginning of the push to profit, and my spidy senses tell me once that happens CGC never looks back.

FalconM wrote: Are you kidding me, an extra $1.75 a gram? Big deal. If CGC strains are good and are in steady supply, they should be capitalizing on that. CGC has spent a lot on building a brand, and having slightly higher costs is a way for that to pay for itself. From what I've gathered, other LPs are going through some supply issues and could continue to as the market expands. It makes me confident that the next couple quarters CGC will outperform their competition... higher revenues, better products and more patient acquisitions. Then well see CGC's market cap rise above APH + MT + OGI once again... ($4.75-$5.00 a share).

it's not about the $1.75 a gram Falcon, it's about the picture that the language paints. We are a compassionate company with the patients best interest in mind.

here is the quote from Jan 25th 2015

"With limited insurance coverage and taxation, the affordability of medical cannabis can be a significant barrier to chronically ill patients obtaining the benefits of a medical marijuana program," said Jonathan Zaid, Member of Bedrocan Canada's Patient Advisory Board and Executive Director of Canadians for Fair Access to Medical Marijuana. "With its True Compassionate Pricing, Bedrocan is helping patients by making their medicine more affordable."

what changed??

something stinks....

Squishy, come on. I am all about the profit. It's business. I get it. Big marijuana is a sensitive topic among the cannabis culture in this country. Especially for those pioneer activists that have been fighting the good fight for decades. Big weed companies like Tweed, Aphria and Mettrum have to tread lightly as it integrates into this century long movement. Make a promise like the compassionate program to the country and it softens the corporate feel of integration and keeps the deep rooted pot culture somewhat at bay. Change it a year later, in the same month that shipping costs are introduced to all patients, seems a bit too corporate for me. A little smelly if you will.

To answer your question regarding if I am still invested, I am not.

I watch CGC everyday and look for reentry when the numbers make sense.

Joe
