RE:RE:RE:RE:RE:RE:RE:RE:RE:RE:RE:The Bedrocan mistake continues...Great post, post couldn't agree more. As a long term shareholder I don't feel threatened by this decision at all. 5-10 years from this announcement will be a non issue.. in the next 3-6-9months it greatly helps improve margins. If Tweed/Bedrocan are able to move prices upwards and end free shipping (hence increase profitiabilty) it is because they are clearly in a position of strength where the brand and demand are truly gaining traction. You don't make this kind of decision from a position of weakness. At the end of the day, it's a business decision, and this move alone speaks volumes to the good strength and good position the company finds itself in. You don't need to wait until the quarterly when you read between the lines here and comprehend the good news implied within.
On a different topic, CGC shareprice is NOT at a standstill. They just issued more shares and have 30+million in the bank courtesy of the bought deal. You have to factor these additional shares in, and in esssence treat it as a gain of another kind. Sure, we would all like to see the raw share price move up. But using that only as the measure, or somehow thinking that the implied value of the company has not gone up in the past month is innacurate.
Back to the Bedrocan statement...I love it from a profit standpoint, and love the insight it gives into the strength of the company. Clearly Bruce et al are seeing some real positives, and are confident making this move.
