RE:Latimer 036

RE:Latimer 036RBC is still accumulating. Clear to see for all.

Latimer is the designated market maker for PGD stock and is basically responsible to gobble up all the odd lots. I assume also perform any arbitration on the stock..but since most volume is done on the TSX...the market usually figures it out itself.

--> List of official market makers.

Latimer is last on that list.
I have been involved in another stock that had Jitney do all the oddlot buys. They are also on that list.

If I am correct, I believe PGD signs up one of the market makers so that shareholders can trade odd lots without getting killed on comission...or just no market to buy/sell into.

eg. I want to sell 1150 shares at market price. 1000 goes to the bid at 24 cents....but without Latimer....the 150 shares go to some guy taking advantage of the market and has a buy order in for a 150 shares at 8 cents.

I would not like that 8 cent trade...but since I pulled the trigger at market...I have to take what the market is giving me.

Same on the buy side.

Hence Latimer.

LONG...PGD
