RE:RE:''strike'' is over

RE:RE:''strike'' is overYes, given that they`ve said in their Sept 21 press release:

Gran Colombia Gold Monitoring Civil Situation in Segovia and Remedios

- you`d think that an update would be in order.
I`ve sent an inquiry to investor relations to see if an update will be issued by GCM.

This was confirmed by Victoria Eugenia Ramirez, Secretary of Government department, who noted that the agreement reached between the parties will "pacify Segovia and Remedios" and give assurances that everything returns to normal in these municipalities in the Northeast: "This agreement will be taken to a decree by Governor Luis Perez Gutierrez where mining solutions table is created for the two municipalities. This establishes guidelines and recognizes the ancestral and artisanal miners municipality and differential treatment to the rest of the department, "said the official. (Read here Governor and XIV Brigade mediate stop Segovia and Remedios) Ramirez also added that this mining table that will involve all stakeholders (Government, Minminas, Mining National Agency mayors Segovia and Remedios, Corantioquia, executives Mining Bureau and to delegate Gran Colombian Gold) will allow analysis and seek solutions all structural problems. Meanwhile the mayor of Segovia, Gustavo Tobon Alonso Velez, stressed the reasonableness of the parties to negotiate and thanked the support of the Government of Antioquia to mediate between the Canadian company Gran Colombia Gold and nearly 5,000 miners. It is worth remembering that thousands of miners engaged in gold mining, the main economic activity of the area, adelantaban a strike since last Sept. 19 to protest the rule (Decree 1421 of the Ministry of Mines), which was within six months to strike up to register in Rucom (Single Registry Minerals Marketing) and forced to stop exploring some lots where legal title of Canadian company that operates the largest mines of Segovia persists.

the news is not even out on GCM'S web site. Terrible job really....
