Mining Bureau of Segovia-Remedios and the regional government signed a preliminary agreement to end the strike that existed in these two towns in northeastern Antioquia for nine days. Secretary of Government Victoria Eugenia Ramirez said that by departmental decree Mesa Mining Solutions is created and established guidelines and recognize the ancestry of the miners of the two municipalities and therefore commit to a differential treatment. The table will seek out solutions to the problems currently in the two municipalities and will include the participation of all stakeholders. On the table will seat the governor, the Ministry of Mines, the National Agency of Mining, secretariats of mines, government and environment of Antioquia, the mayors of Segovia and Remedios, a delegate from Corantioquia, multinational Gran Colombia Gold and president and directors of the Mining Bureau. The Bureau Solutions will have a technical committee of formalization, to analyze individually each of the cases of individual mines operating within the concession of Gran Colombia Gold, but also be a verification committee that will ensure that the work is not dilate and solve short term are given. The first meeting of the Bureau was scheduled for 5 October and in her next work plan and coordination will be defined."
