RE: Kipushi Hard to say, but the resource numbers give some basis to guess. The grades are stupendous and there is already a lot of infrastructure for mining in place, so capital requirements might be comparatively low.
My guess is it can be put into action for a few hundred million. The question becomes if they plan to separate out Ge for credit, which would improve economics a lot, perhaps even giving it close to zero net Zn/Cu costs. At the very least, I expect lower quartile economics and lowish capex, so I would not be surprised if the NPV is something on the order of $1B at 8%. Given that DRC is already a major partner (32%), I don't expect any permitting or development issues, so the true value lies with a much lower discount than 8%.
