Now that world class mine is buried in giant dog pile of average! At least i made a ton of money owning nmi at $0.84. Sad to see her go, nmi shareholders were sold out. Love to know insides of the deal for all insiders. Something doesn't smell right in this deal. I still saw nmi going at least another $1 higher but that is surely gone now.

Rawcolt, I agree with you that NMI was undervalued and had great potential for growth, but the big boys are on the hunt smaller juniors that will add to their bottom line, which NMI would certainly provide. I bet several of the major gold producers were looking at Newmarket.

However, I would not like to be taken out by someone like Barrick even at a 40% premium. What is that at todays price $4.71 x 1.4 = $6.59... Naw,,  Not when we have the potential for $15 - 20 within a couple of years...

Better to merge with Kirkland where Newmarket has a large portion of the total company. Kirkland is not bad,, very high grade, lots of exploration potential, and a CEO who is looking to bring costs down.. Like Sprott said, we will now be on the radar of some very large investors and hopefull grow almost as well as NMI could have on it's own.. NMI was just too attractive of a target..
