Yep. I work at mine and it all comes down to dollars and cents. Equipment runs day and night because an idle piece of equipment isn't making money. The trucks cost 1 or 2 million dollars each depending on size. Loading equipment can be even more $ . To make mining profitable and practical your stuffs gotta be moving material. Cheers Pork Sausage
