There's a lot of assumptions being made here. Maybe it will be a reasonable offer maybe it won't. I think the only thing that is clear to me is the company has been a target for over a year now. This stock has been slammed every quarter since last fall. Does anybody actually think the two parties pushing for this sale aren't involved in these attacks?

Hit the company when they are vulnerable, which in this case is 2016. If they had left this to 2017 things would probably be much different.
