I really doubt it is MSFT but if we speculate that a deal was in the works I think HCI would have to do some house cleaning prior to a deal being announced. They have far to many shares o/s so some sort of a consolidation would have to be done. Bottom line is MSFT would simply buy out HCI at x per share based on a valuation of the company. And all officers and directors of HCI would retire wealthy.
