Driving to the Hamptons?

SEINFELD: Peter Schiff often relates an episode from Seinfeld where George is driving out to the Hamptons to show off his imaginary estate to his in laws. He is trying to get out of his predicament by constantly stalling on the way - like the Fed on interest rates - but he has been lying about the property so long that he finds it impossible now to tell the truth. Is that the sort of thing you think we have here?

I have a small bet on IDM based on the project (location, grade, AISC, exploration upside) but also largely on the McLeod connection (Underworld, Casey, Pretium, etc.). The kind of deliberate deception and mismanagement you are describing may be common among junior miners but would be unlikely from someone of the McLeods' caliber. How much would they really have to gain for the loss of their reputation in the industry?

Please elaborate on your theory. Although I find it implausible, I am (as my name implies) a devoted seeker of contrary opinions.
