RE:Mining Journal Article on MTO
RE:Mining Journal Article on MTO Ok everyone, over the past 3-4 years we've heard the list or reasons why the company should be bought out by a mid or upper tier miner. This latest promo piece pretty much hits all of those reasons again. Here are just a few of those reasons this company is so valuable and a prime takeover target.
New gold discoveries at Bachelor Lake
Mining higher grades at Hewfran
New Moroy Discovery
Positive Barry PEA
Location proximity to WindFall Lake (Osisko)
Only Mill in the Area
Big tax write-off
5000 ounces in the Canadian mint
More drilling at Barry (convert ounces category)
Open pit mining Barry
Drilling new areas near Osiso Property line
Barry (no streaming agreement)
Mill Expansion
Sprott Buying Shares
Now, during this same time frame some here have put forth MTO would be bought out by the end of summer. While others have placed a minimum of .50 when it does happen. We even had one person compare the company to Apple (my personnal favorite), and countless others.
Yet for some reason this company after 3.5 years of constant promoting, still no buyout or merger (call it whatever you want). Instead of focusing all your attantion all these reason that MTO should be bought out. Can any of you MTO supper bulls give me some good reason why a merger hasn't happened. Something is or always has stopped this from happening.
If this company is such a "Stinking Deal". Osisko should have done it years ago. If Osiso would have bought/merged with MTO 2 years ago (for the same price or cheaper they can get it today) they would be mining Windfall lake ore by now. They could have merged with MTO, mined Bachelor Lake until Windfall Lake was being readied for mining and today they would be shipping ore to Bachelor Lake. But they aren't.
So, I don't want to hear why this merger should happen. For 3.5 years I've heard all kinds of reason why it should. At this point I think it's more important to ask why it hasn't.
