RE:RE:RE:What's the new product? From news release in most recent quarter:
Bruce Gowan, IWG Chairman stated "Product timing issues and a recent decline in business jet deliveries saw the quarter come in lighter than the previous year. While the industry has estimated that business jet deliveries are down 4.7% over last year, IWG has seen a 3% revenue increase in the first 9 months of fiscal 2016. Also, customer-driven changes have delayed the certification process for a newly developed commercial aviation product which is expected to provide revenue growth in fiscal 2017 and beyond. The company is confident that its ability to deliver strong results will continue, as evidenced by maintaining the yearover-year performance in the face of these recent events."
From annual report released in January:
Looking towards to commercial market, IWG will focus on addressing the airline’s water system issues and needs. To maintain IWG’s competitive position in meeting the commercial market’s requirements, IWG will introduce a new UV Water Treatment Unit. Our goal is to leverage International Water-Guard as the prime solution for airliners, as we start to see an overall concern for reducing weight on-board, decreasing fuel costs, and upholding passenger’s safety. This commitment to develop unique products for customer’s needs not only shows IWG’s dedication to providing top customer service, but also proves the IWG is equipped with an innovative team of skilled engineers and product technicians.
In my personal opinion, they are using their experience in the business jet industry to develop a product superior to UV Pure's treatment product (already in commercial jet sector, Boeing 787 Dreamliner) and other traditional filtration systems, that could be sold effectively in the commercial jet space, as they are not really in this space as of yet with their filtration systems.
