If Kakula is a higher grade deposit then the vaue per ton is higher and therefore a direct ratio of tons is not a realistic method of evaluation It will take a PEA to give the information necessary to evaluate the Kakula portion of the Kamoa complex. Also do not forget that there is lots more drill results to come over the next few months.
My concern is to what portion of the exploration expenses are being born by Zijin as they will be a major beneficiary of this discovery but from my reading of the agreement there is no clear statement of who pays for the exploration as opposed to the engineering and construction costs It would be nice to hear from Ivanhoe on this aspect.
