Interesting Seeking Alpha articleJeffrey Snider Oct 13 Summary: The S&P 500 has had 2 "inside weeks" in a row this month. An inside week is when a stock trades -inside- the last weeks top and bottom without touching them. Coupled with the very low VIX, the market just doesn't know where to place its money. The last time the S&P 500 had two inside weeks was in 2000 and 2008. The patterns are tightening and if quarterly reports are as week as expected the breakout should be downward. GL
