Letter back from Health Canada

Letter back from Health CanadaHere is response for question "how long does it take to get a license to sell from being a producer. Notice it's signed by "13" no one gives out there name anymore in the government bureaucracy.

Hello,

Thank you for your query.

Please note that when a producer is first licensed, they are typically issued a production-only licence. This graduated approach is for the purpose of verifying that the marijuana which is meant for registered clients meets all the quality standards set out under the ACMPR.

Once a licensed producer has finished producing the first crop of marijuana, they must demonstrate through an inspection and test results that their planned growing processes will result in the production of a dried product that meets their specified quality control standards and the good production practices set out in Sub-Division  D of the ACMPR.  Only once Health Canada is satisfied the licensed producer meets the requirements of Sub-Division  D of the ACMPR. will a licence be amended to allow sale to the public.
