So, I did that little number crunch and you are right on that point (the first in the following list).
To have a 45% CM for the 446 patients and a 30% CM at patient 270, we need a 68% CM for the last 176 patients. - Unlikely
Earlier, following the protocol change...
To have a 50% CM at patient 371 and a 30% CM at patient 270, we need 104 patients dying over 101 - Impossible
End results
To have a 45% CM for the last 176 patients and only 5% AMB, while the non-consent CM is 62% - Unlikely also, unless SOC was not the same for the non-consent population and the randomized population, or unless there has been some kind of trickery.
So where does that leave us?
Who is against us, apart from the whole Universe?
