7000Tough break with the Pratt GTF1500 but at least the Global 7000 seems to be advancing - real money to be made per unit there and a shame this program wasn't pushed ahead long ago. If oil prices keep moving up, perhaps the fuel savings argument of the C Series will be front and centre again. Low maintenance and noise reduction are great, but I've got to think expensive fuel would get buyers to act and open up their wallets. Pratt needs to come up with a solution for the fan blades or the Leap engines are going to do them in (I guess 3D composite blades are not doable for such a large diameter)
