RE:RE:RE:Van Eck Holdings of PVG5 percent of my "entire" Portfolio...There are really only a handful of good districts in safe jurisdictions for investing in junior gold miners: The Golden Triangle, Red Lake, Timmins, maybe a few others like the Yukon and Nevada. The Golden Triangle is probably the hottest right now, and the #1 reason is Pretium.
I also own AUG (Homestake), IDM (Red Mountain) and SKE (Snip). The reason these and other companies are poking holes all over the GT is largely because of the success that Pretium has had there.
Many of them go so far as to state their hopes of finding another VOK (or more realistically, an extension of the existing VOK) somewhere on their own property. Pretium has already shown that the deposit is open along strike, and may extend well outside Pretium's own extensive land package.
