RE:Upside of Kalanako

RE:Upside of KalanakoTreetop, thanks for your analysis, will be an interesting benchmark going forward.

What amazes me is that AVK's stock price is lower that at the start of the year by a penny.  If you click on the 3 year stock price, we're still at the same levels as much of 2015.  Thus the entire gold miner stock rise this year, GDX is up something like 70%, left Avnel at the station, and this is despite the re-risking news of an updated 43-101 and significant increase in ounces, ESIA, and a DFS.  Now they are infill drilling to further enhance the ecomonics of this project.  Missing the GDX train this year is apparently due to lack of financing news.

Anyway, because AVK literally makes me feel ill, I've been backing up the truck and buying like crazy the last few weeks.  Buy low when you feel terrified is my mantra.  The following article had a big impact on me at the beginning of the year and it's worth a look.  The story hasn't changed except that some warrants have been exercised, the project has been significantly de-risked, gold has caught a bid, and many people believe the gold bull for mining stocks has resumed after a four year bear market.   If this stock ever catches a bid I won't be buying because I've already used up my free cash here in the basement.  Someone's been unloading a lot of stock, perhaps for good reason, and I've been buying it.  We'll see eventually who is the greater fool.
