How Deep Is Hole #62?Hard to tell for sure, because it appears to extend beyong the edge of the latest map shown on the REX website.
The visible portion of the surface trace is slight less than 200 M long. It could be longer, depending on how far it runs off the edge of the map. At an inclination of 45 degrees, 200 M surface trace translates to 200 M vertical depth. At 30 degrees, a 200 M trace would represent 340 M vertical depth.
At La Pitarrilla, the oxide ore (weathered) ends an the transitional ore (sulfide) begins about 200 M below surface. So we are getting closer. See P81.
