RE:Zone 5 Breccia infoHey Goldhunter11,
In addition to the past drill results I noted for Zone 5 (on this original post), I think I found a couple of other good Zone 5 historical drill results that perhaps is not already part of the results I previously highlighted. As least, they don`t look like they are part of those other results.
Below is a link to an old 2007 research report. You can ignore most of the report, as it is outdated (naturally). Pg 20 is the page we are interested in. It shows two Zone 5 (Orenada 5) historical intercepts, as follows:
1) 1.04% Cu and 1.94 g/t Au over 8.84m (this is about
3.5 g/t Au eq over 8.84m)
2)
10.73 g/t Au over 3.65m
These are nice intercepts and compliment the other intercepts very well. Although they look like different drill hole results, and not subsections of the previous holes I had highlighted (also shown in more details on slide 18 on Alexandria`s Sept 1st presentation), It doesn`t really matter.
Be it subsections or different/additional holes, these 2 results look solid for deep downhole conductivity testing. My guess is that these 2 drill holes were included in the 12 holes tested.
Given the strong
correlation between high gold-copper assays, copper and iron sulfides in drill core and geophysical electrical conductors, it is very encouraging for us (likely) finding more drill results similar to those highlighted above. We are likely to find good results both downhole and off-hole (
both extensions of existing good Zone 5 holes and new discoveries, at deeper locations as well as along strike and across strike).
I look forward to us drilling our strong conductivity showings this winter.
The attached (old 2007) report is very heavy (48 pages). People concerned with large reports/files should probably not click on the link. Again, you can disregard most of the report due to being outdated. Pg 20 is the one we should focus on.
