RE:RE:UK Health Care Supplies bill link to video from UK HouseThe reading is worth viewing by longs as well. There will be a consultative process on the rationale behind pricing with the generic industry and Concordia had pledged to cooperate fully with providing all the necessary information so fair price controls can be achieved in the future. I see it as a more sustainable businesses model and not the apocalypse that shorty is painting. There will still be British demand by the NHS for Amco products that the govt admits. The only difference is to reign in the renegade price increases. There will still be longstanding revenue for orphan single supplier medicines, just closing of certain loopholes and pricing more in alignment with acceptable industry standards. The British govt will ask and receive information from all steps in the manufacture and marketing of a generics products and negotiate a consensus price control based upon dialogue. They want to be seen as making a difference to their constituents, and budget committees, and Concordia wants to be a partner in health care. Looks like a win-win from my perspective. Thanks shorty for posting the video, makes me more secure in my investment.
