October Watershed

October WatershedAs far as I am aware, no date has yet been put forward for the KLG / NMI shareholder vote.  However, it seems likely that it will be held in November.  Also, at the end of October there could be an announcement that KLG has paid off 1% of the Franco Nevada NSR together with receiving a credit for payments already made.

I started my KLG acquisition at the end of September at C$10.11.  By mid-October, I added at C$7.855.   For the above reasons, I decided to take the plunge and increase my holding by 50% early today. As a result of today’s SP increase my KLG holding is now in the green for the first time.

Whatever the turbulence, due to the US election, over the next few months, I am now in my bunker with KLG and KDX.

As a Brexit based buyer, during 2016 my Canadian investments have also afforded currency uplifts.  It seems that the EU is now presenting an intransient approach to Canada, re trade deals, although this is likely to be EU’s loss. The EU are fighting trade partners on two fronts in the east and west - not likely to be a good outcome, particularly when Deutsche bank problems crystallise.
