RE:Les juges ont rendu leurs décision ...Thanks for the into Optimistgold!
Hopefully it gets finalized soon. The Ejidos winning the appeals process is probably the best outcome for us, in terms to the quickest route to getting the mining permit. It means we don`t have to wait for the zoning changes to be process, as the Ejidos winning means there are no longer any zoning restrictions. The Ejidos will be able to conduct business as they have always done in the area (prior to the restrictive zoning attempts in recent years). And, VVC will be able to conduct mining activities in the area, just like other minings have done in the area, historically.
We do have to wait for the mining permit to be processed though. VVC`s site had stated having to wait for 60 days after zoning change to file for the mining permit. With no zoning change required anymore, hopefully the 60 day wait period has been eliminated. Let`s hope they are able to file within a couple of weeks.
Hopefully it only takes a few weeks to receive the mining permit after filing documentations.
Hopefully they can get the permit in hand by end of this year (2 more months) and start mine construction at beginning of 2017, with first copper mined in mid Q2`17 and first copper sales in mid Q3`17.
There is also a small existing stockpile of copper ore. They will use that pile of copper ore to test the plant in the early stages.
They will perform preparation drilling work in the first pit as soon as the permit is approved.
Hopefully VVC issues a news release soon to update the market about the zoning appeals situation, as well as expected permitting and production timeframe.
