RE:RE:RE:RE:RE:RE:RE:RE:RE:RE:Frank ......How many KMS Ok! New Sheriff1 I will bite.
Firstly your 4 billion riding under the tourist is not in the present plan - though Lou would say wait the plan will change.
Eons ago it seems the plan was to bring out 4 million tonnes of Chromite (chromium ore) That is Cr2O3 which is mixed with Iron ore Fe2O3 along with silica Si02
{if I add Magnesium consideration it gets messyBUT Mg2SiO4 Olivine is a mineral considered a a way of sequestering (tying up ) carbon Dioxide gas so olivine from the seperation process could be used to capture the carbon Dioxide by converting to serpentine} Something to consider . So that describes roughly what the raw ore is. This raw ore is valued at about $125 - $135 USD per tonne (metric ) decreasing slightly over the past year.
So IF the raw ore only is what is going into the loop - That is about 1/2 a billion going out the loop per year.
IF the conversion to Ferro Chrome was done on site and that product was sent south in the loop The conversion rate is about 40% of the starting pre processed raw ore So out of One Million tonnes of ""chromite"" ore you get about 400,000 T of Ferrochrome - That is worth about 1.09 USD /lb if High carbon content and 2.24 if it is low carbon ferrochrome(hey this is all roughly) so 400,000 T of LCFC is worth the most at about $5,000 T or if reporting to the loop That is about HEY The calculator says 2 Billion dollars moving south for each Million tonnes of ore converted to LCFC?? (did I screw up?) or if high Carbon Ferrochrome HCFC at 1.09.lb UsD is about 880 million per million tonnes converted raw ore.
So if 4 million Tonnes of raw ore per year Sold @$130 .T - $520 Million
So if 4 million Tonnes converted to LCFC 1.6MT/Y ( 3.584Billion Lbs) - @ $2.24 /lb = $8 Billion
So if 4 million Tonnes converted to HCFC 1.6MT/Y ( 3.584Billion Lbs) - @$1.08/lb = $3.8707 Bill.
Oh I just remembered this is Canada so feel free to convert to Canadian dollars
I was so sure your 4 billion out the pipe loop was way too high YOU may Be correct - I do make mistakes - too often for my liking. It was hard to get prices for the metals and ferro chrome - They may be old.
When I first got into this I was at Mousseau Trambley''s place and he excused himself to fax a press release for his company KWG. I knew nothing of his company except the diamond end of it. The next morning I checked the internet and saw it was the discovery of Chromite in the james Bay Lowlands. Another company free West Resources was Their partner and were the operators. Don Hoy on site - I knew him as VERY conservative so when the 3rd drill hole was 1000 meters drom his last hole HE KNEW that the chromite went there (and so did I)
So the same numbers I just did here 100m thick 100 m deep and for every 100m of lenght is 1 Billion in Ferro Chrome - he stepped out 10 billion dollars. I have been here ever since - The company may get the shaft but I will hold the stock till it is all decided..
The largest negative thing I see is that if namo carbon fibres of unlimited length are developed rebar and steel in general is fading fast. I do not believe the government and most realize how ephemeral mineral deposit opportunities are. The Ontario Government has squandered at least 6 years - they do not see the whole picture for sure. The Natives dont either or there would be more noise to the Governments both Fed and provincial. If this goes off track for long It could just go away like Cliffs did (praise be God for that)
