Done A Bit Of Reading On Calderas

Aside from being large geological features, calderas have also collapsed (sunk) in a circular pattern, with slump blocks around the edges. This is might cause comlplications with broken and vertically displaced ore bodies.

It appears that t he center of the caldera at Sandra-Escobar lies to the NW of the Boleras deposit, so that Hole #62 might be seen as an attempt to locate a continuation of the porous rhyolite pay zone where it might have subsided.

Is Cope trying to warn up about potential geological complexities, discovered as a result of what they saw in Hole #62?
