RE:Taken from the VEG Board RE:The money we had, we don't have
At this rate no news, some strange news release and a trade hault signal the death of this hyped up bullshit of a company. Veg is bankrupt and it would appear the larger investors who took control didnt want to pay off the debts and start operations again. They let it tank and probably really screwed the insiders including Jeff (personally guarenteed alot of dept), former directors and other mid sized shareholders. We probably will never know their reasoning.
Given the speed of the decline and the sharp turn around from good news to bad financials /news there are alot of people who lost some serious cash on this one, including the insiders. I bet they were even cleaning up the market at the bottom expecting a turn around (I was joining them, catching knives..)
My guess is the insiders are going to get something going with this shell (still not sure how they can do this) and attempt to resurect the dead and make up some losses. Hopefully we see a plan in the next while.
