On November 8, the Verkhovna Rada Committee on Fuel and Energy Complex, Nuclear Policy and Nuclear Safety will hold hearings on increase in gas production in Ukraine up to 20 billion cubic meters by 2020.

Ukrinform has learned this from the Energy Research Center, which is one of the organizers of the hearings.

"On November 8, the Verkhovna Rada Committee on Fuel and Energy Complex, Nuclear Policy and Nuclear Safety will hold hearings on topic "20 billion cubic meters of natural gas of its own production in 2020 - how to do it, PJSC UkrGasVydobuvannya?" reads a statement.

As we know, PJSC UkrGasVydobuvannya is implementing a program to increase gas production in Ukraine from current 14 billion to 20 billion cubic meters by 2020.
