It looks like a game to force the buys into the short sell.  Just my best guess here.  Personally, I won't short the stock even on swing, because I think it's too risky a trade.  Of course, others feel differently, but they have a gazillion times more capital to play those games and move  the stock how they want.  It's interesting to watch.  Just know that we're all guppies in a sea of much much bigger sharks.
