Martkets take off and AC still stuck at the gate

Martkets take off and AC still stuck at the gateWell, if the markets have taken off and AC still at the gate, perhaps the expectant customers are still kicking the tires or checking.  Or, that the pilots are doing their safety check and making sure this bird can fly/soar.  Only question is, how long will this take before they give the all clear.

As for Aeroplan and Air Miles, quite a change over the years.  First time, went to use Aeroplan, only cost was the new airport fee at Vancouver whereas Air miles charged all the fees.

When I used Air miles last time, the off season rate changed from 1750 to 2500 and had to pay slightly over $100 fees.

Used Aeroplan and found out that the return flights cost 15000 Aeroplan, charged $26 in fees from US to Canada and then $76 in fees from Canada to US.  Our airport fees are a lot more in Canada.

On the other side of the border, they do some cutting back also.  One year bookd UAL in November to fly in late Febuarry to Asia and return April 3.  Looked at my statement for miles credited and saw only one half the miles credited ion return flight in April.  Found out the UAL decided to start April 1, with crediting only 50% of the miles on economy flights.

Using Aeroplan is like buying tickets, the closer to the date, the higher the cost/miles besides what day you want to travel on.

Have a great day.
